A 5-piece female-fronted
guitar band with keyboards and harmonies. Based in South London, they make
their own unique brand of alternative rock/pop music inspired by the classic
songwriting guitar bands of the 60's and 70's, along with American girl/boy
bands such as Breeders, Pixies, Hole etc, and the more recent crop of British
guitar bands..

Tom Patrol formed
in the summer of 1997. founding members, Rose and Pol (friends from Reading)
teamed up musically in 1994 - shortly after Rose's original band "The Heart
Throbs" had split. After a brief spell as "Angora" when bassist Andy joined,
they changed and added to their sound and line-up finally recruiting Steve
("Bes") on drums and Farzana on keyboards and backing vocals. The chemistry
now complete, they set about refining their songs and live set.

Emotionally
charged and with a vibrant lyricism, Tom Patrol now have a powerful and
impressive live set of songs, and are gaining attention playing round London
now.
